Dealing with record lows and lousy conditions

On Wednesday, Nov. 13, the city of Kalamazoo, Michigan, reached a record low for the date with the temperature bottoming out at 11 degrees after slushy snow hit the area just a few days prior. Most people stayed indoors to avoid the bitterly cold conditions.
