Storm destroys shelters used by Philippines earthquake victims
  • 4 years ago
This is the terrifying moment strong winds and heavy rain destroyed shelters being used by victims of recent earthquakes in the Philippines.

The tents were put up in Makilala, North Cotabato, southern Philippines, after hundreds of people were displaced by successive earthquakes last month. But the area was battered by a strong hailstorm on November 11.

Footage shows how the blue covers of the shelters were torn off.

North Cotabato Governor Shirlyn Macasarte said four evacuation camps were damaged by the hailstorm and powerful winds.
