MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong said the government should come up with a plan to ensure the nation's aviation industry is upgraded following the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)'s decision to downgrade ratings.

Dr Wee said ministers should sit down and discuss the next course of action to ensure that Malaysia's air safety rating is upgraded to Category 1 within the next 12 months.
