Legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar complained of difficulty in breathing in the early hours of Monday, following which she was rushed to Breach Candy Hospital, in South Mumbai. Earlier reports suggested that the singer is critical and has been admitted in the ICU. The authorities of Breach Candy say that she is under observation and her condition is currently stable. Since Lata Mangeshkar's sudden health deteriorated, her fans in the industry have become worried. BJP MP Hema Malini expressed concern about her health by tweeting on Tuesday morning.

लता मंगेशकर की तबीयत खराब के चलते अस्पताल में भर्ती हैं. लता मंगेशकर को सांस लेने में तकलीफ की शिकायत के बाद सोमवार तड़के ब्रीच कैंडी अस्पताल के आईसीयू में भर्ती कराया गया है. जहां उनकी हालत नाजुक बताई जा रही है. लता मंगेशकर की अचानक तबीयत बिगड़ने के बाद से इंडस्ट्री में उनके चाहने वाले चिंतित हो गए हैं. उनकी तबीयत को लेकर हेमा मालिनी ने मंगलवार की सुबह ट्वीट कर चिंता जताई. उन्होंने लिखा, ''लता मंगेशकर जो कि इस समय अस्पताल में भर्ती हैं, रिपोर्ट्स का कहना है कि उनकी हालात काफी क्रिटिकल है. ईश्वर उन्हें हिम्मत दें ताकी वो इस मुश्किल समय से बाहर निकल आएं और हमारे बीच यूं हीं रहें. भारत रत्न लता जी के लिए पूरा देश प्रार्थना कर रहा है. भारत की स्वरकोकिला.''
