Carrie Lam says HK government won't yield to escalating violence

Hong Kong Chief Executive Carrie Lam said escalating violence will not make the government "yield to pressure to satisfy the so-called political demands".
Lam was speaking after violent clashes on Monday which saw a Hong Kong police officer shot at masked protesters
while another man was set on fire.
