Cyclonic storm ‘Bulbul’ made landfall in Bengal on Saturday night as a severe cyclonic storm with a maximum sustained speed of 110 to 120 kilometres per hour. The India Meteorological Department has said that cyclone BulBul is likely to weaken gradually and move Northwards and cross West Bengal-Bangladesh coasts between Sagar Islands. Two deaths have been reported so far Bengal and Odisha. West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee visited the control room at the state secretariat to monitor the situation.

चक्रवाती तूफान 'बुलबुल' ने शनिवार आधी रात को पश्चिम बंगाल के सागर आइलैंड और बांग्लादेश के खेपुपारा इलाके में दस्तक दी. बुलबुल चक्रवात ने 110-120 किमी प्रति घंटे की रफ्तार से बंगाल को हिट किया. अभी भी 100 किमी प्रति घंटे की रफ्तार से हवाएं चल रही हैं. तेज हवाओं से खतरा बना हुआ है. तेज हवाओं की चपेट में आने से अब तक 2 लोगों की मौत हो चुकी है. वहीं बुलबुल को लेकर पीएम मोदी ने सीएम ममता बनर्जी से बात की है.
