An unexpected and welcome change of direction from Thurston Moore. The inclusion of Debbie Googe should have given me a clue. Great night.
The set was a single shoegazing epic. I was trying to catch on video a mixture of one of the dreamy sequences and one of the more beaty parts which punctuated the set, but I kept missing the latter. Filmed until the battery ran out on my camera, then tried a couple more times with my phone. Took in some great sonic sculpture along the way and finally got one of the punchier bits in.
