Mary Louise-Parker
is on board to return as
pot dealer Nancy Botwin.
The actress will also
executive produce the upcoming show.

It centered on a widowed mother
of two boys who begins selling marijuana to support her family.
According to 'THR,' the sequel will be
set a decade after the program's original ending.
Lionsgate, which owns Starz, is also contributing to the project, which CEO Jon Feltheimer is calling 'Weeds 4.20.'.
We're thrilled to be back in business with series star and executive producer Mary-Louise Parker on what we're calling 'Weeds 4.20,' already in active development at Starz, Lionsgate CEO Jon Feltheimer,
via earnings call.
The return of 'Weeds' comes as the United States has become more "pot-friendly" in recent years.
Several states have legalized cannabis since the show ended its original run
