The Tanjung Piai by-election campaign trail is now in full swing after nominations kicked off last week, pitting six candidates against each other for the parliamentary seat. One favourite is former incumbent Wee Jeck Seng from MCA - one of Barisan Nasional’s remaining component parties.

After one week of canvassing the constituency, it appears that Wee Jeck Seng, who had served two terms as the Tanjung Piai MP before, has won the hearts of the locals.
