Meryl Streep, Lin-Manuel Miranda and
Emma Stone to Host 2020 Met Gala.
This will be Streep's first
time attending the Met Gala.
Along with Stone and Miranda,
Streep with join Nicolas Ghesquière
of Louis Vuitton as co-chair of the event.
Louis Vuitton will underwrite
the Gala, whose theme is
"About Time: Fashion and Duration.".
[The theme] will explore how clothes generate temporal associations that conflate past, present, and future, Met Announcement, via Page Six.
Serving as "ghost narrator"
of the event will be writer
Virginia Woolf, with quotes from
her work illuminating the exhibition.
As she has since 1995, Anna Wintour
will act as chairwoman of the Gala
