Veterans of the Second World War gathered in Westminster Abbey, London on Thursday (November 7) to lay tributes to members of the Armed Forces who lost their lives in combat.

91 years ago, the Field of Remembrance where veterans gathered today was started by Major George Howson, who also founded the Poppy Factory
