In the newly released proposal, Sanders also calls for the breakup of Customs and Border Protection.
The Vermont Senator is now the first 2020 candidate to request the scrapping of both agencies.
The functions of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement and CBP would be re-touted to fellow agencies.
Sanders' plan goes on to call for the Department of Justice to handle deportation and border enforcement.
Citizenship concerns would be directed to the State Department.
Sanders also calls for better working conditions and protections for immigrant and guest workers in big companies.
For this, the 78-year-old has revealed the Domestic Workers Bill of Rights.
The bill requires improved working conditions, scheduling and a $15 an hour wage. .
Federal contracts would also be halted for businesses who take advantage of these workers.
Large corporations target vulnerable communities as a source of labor and use their immigration status to retaliate when workers stand up for their rights.
For too long, employers have exploited undocumented immigrants and guest workers to violate labor laws, skirt the minimum wage, and maximize their own profits
