Two pilots continue a challenge to fly a newly restored Spitfire around the world.

Piloted by Matt Jones, 45, and Devon Steven Brooks, 58, the plane flew across the American continent then Eurasia with Bangkok marking its 50th destination.

The single-seater Mk IX silver spitfire is on world tour after it took off from Goodwood airport in West Sussex on August 6.

Footage taken by Nuddanai Kaewjuang October 28 shows the iconic plane, which helped to defeat the Nazis, spitting fire as the engine roars into life before taking off from the city's Don Mueang International Airport.

Nuddanai, an aircraft mechanic, said that it was overwhelming to witness the legendary aircraft. He said: "This was like a dream come true to see the legend spitting fire trough exhaust pipe."
