President Moon Jae-in will sit down this afternoon with the heads of wire services in the Asia-Pacific region to promote South Korea's hosting of the Korea-ASEAN Special Summit this month in the southern port city of Busan.
Meeting the heads of 32 news agencies from 28 countries,... who are in Seoul for the Organization of Asia-Pacific News Agencies General Assembly,... the president may call on the agencies to support his administration's peace initiative with North Korea.
He may also explain the South Korean government's efforts to that end... and ask the wire agencies to boost awareness of it in the Asia-Pacific region.
