Meerut (UP): In an unusual comment over current air pollution prevailing in northern states of India, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader from Meerut Vineet Agarwal Sharda claimed that neighbouring countries, mainly Pakistan and China are behind it.

“Some are claiming it's because of stubble burning farmers and some others claim that it is because of industries, Farmers and businessmen go hand and hand, we should not question them, I think poisonous air is being released by 'afraid' neighbouring countries may be Pakistan or China,” he added.
