Matthew McConaughey Lends Helping Hand During California Wildfires.
The Oscar-winning actor helped prepare hundreds
of meals for first responders battling the blazes.
McConaughey also assisted with over 800 meals for homeless shelters.
The event itself was associated with disaster relief organization
Operation BBQ Relief.
As well as Wild Turkey Bourbon and
its annual charity campaign
“With Thanks.".
McConaughey has been the
creative director and a spokesman
of Wild Turkey since 2016.
The actor says the campaign was
first scheduled for 'National First Responder’s Day' later this week.
The recent devastating fires throughout the state changed up plans.
