A British tourist was arrested at night of November 3 after allegedly selling drugs to revellers on Thailand's full moon party island.

Matthew Beresford, 36, was said to have used a Harley Davidson to deliver the drugs on Ko Pha-ngan in Surat Thani province.

Police, who claimed to have received a tip-off about the Brit, noticed the distinctive bike before following him back to a bungalow where he stayed.

The officers raided his room and found 0.014 ounces of heroin, 0.007 ounces of methamphetamine, 1.82 ounces of morphine, and 5.6 ounces of cannabis.

All of them were inside a sealed plastic bag which the police said was a sign that the substances had been prepared for sale.

Officers confiscated all the drugs along with Beresford's belongings including, two motorcycles allegedly used for drug deliveries, a car and 15,000 baht (384 GBP)in cash.

Police Colonel Sathit Kongniam said that the British man admitted that all the drugs belonged to him and he will be charged and sent to court.

Sathit said: "After the interrogation, the British man confessed and admitted that he owned all the drug that we found in his bungalow."

"Initially, we will charge him of Class I, Class II, and Class V drug possession before he is submitted to the court.''
