Anti-fascist march in central London met with opposition who 'were seen giving Nazi salutes'
The anti-fascist group known as "Antifa" held a demonstration in central London last night (October 31) and were met with a counter-demonstration.

Footage shows the marchers being escorted by police, while scuffles broke out elsewhere.

The counter-demonstrators were described as "agitators" and "far-right" after they were seen "giving Nazi salutes in front of police."

The group of anti-fascists marched on Whitehall where they made their way to the South Bank and the London eye.

The march was to oppose organisations who were in the capital to mark what would have been the day the United Kingdom left the European Union.
