Lebanon’s prime minister, Saad Hariri, announced his resignation Tuesday (October 29), setting a tenuous political situation into more uncertainty as nationwide protests continue.

One enormous protest, seen in this footage from Sunday (October 27), was the formation of a 106 mile (171 kilometers) human chain formed between the cities of Tripoli and Tyre.

"Hand in hand we stand for a better Lebanon," said Ella, the filmer.
