A car left a trail of flames on a highway in eastern China after the drunk driver crashed into the central reservation.
The dramatic video, filmed in the county of Wuyi on October 18, shows a car smashing into the central reservation and knocking it down, causing petrol to leak from the vehicle.
A huge fire then broke out, burning along the trail of petrol that leaked out onto the road.
The driver and his girlfriend came out of the burning car and escaped.
According to reports, the driver named Lv was in a rush to drive back to his hometown as one of his relatives was sick.
Lv suffered injuries to several parts of his body. Police confirmed that he was drunk driving and he was blamed for the incident.
