Recovery continues one week after Texas tornadoes
  • 4 years ago
Monday marks a full week of cleanup and recovery efforts after a severe weather outbreak brought 10 tornadoes to North Texas on Oct. 20. While progress is moving quickly in some areas, the recovery is slow in other neighborhoods where families don't have as many resources. State leaders say it will take weeks to determine if uninsured Texas families will qualify for individual FEMA aid. The threshold is at least 800 uninsured homes that are badly damaged or destroyed across the state.
