This young girl won the top prize in a bizarre competition - peeling palm leaves with her feet.
Sarocha Kongmanee, 11, was the fastest competitor at the event in Trang, southern Thailand, on October 22.
She won 2,000 baht (51 GBP) and defeated older, more experienced women. Funds raised from the event go towards next year's Bhuddsit boat parade.
The stretched nipa palm leaves which are popular in the south are normally used for making the local cigarettes.
The girl beat the former champion by producing the most stretched leaves within five minutes.
The young champion revealed that the secret behind her victory was because she has been helping her mother for two years.
She said: "My family was selling the stretched leaves even before I was born. I observed my parents while doing it, then two years ago I started to do it myself."
