Indian city of Ayodhya sets Guinness World Record by illuminating 409,000 oil lamps during Diwali Festival

The Indian city of Ayodhya set a Guinness World Record on Saturday by illuminating hundreds of thousands of lamps as part of the annual Hindu festival of Diwali.
The city was awarded the certificate after representatives from the Guinness World Records witnessed via drone cameras the lighting of 409-thousand oil lamps.
According to local media, over six-thousand students and volunteers took part in the illumination.
Diwali, which is also known as the "Festival of Lights,"... is one of the most important Hindu festivals in India that lasts for five days.
This year, it is celebrated from October 25th to the 29th.
