The Kincade wildfire has spread to the wine country of Sonoma County in California.

Footage showed a building at the Soda Rock Winery engulfed by flames in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The nearby Fieldstone Winery also caught fire and at least one structure was seen ablaze.

The wines produced in Sonoma County in Alexander Valley are known for their high quality, especially Cabernet Sauvignon and form a key part of California's 40 billion dollar wine industry.

The area is also home to the vineyard owned by film director Francis Ford Coppola.
