Vice-President Venkaiah Naidu hit out at Pakistan calling it a contemporary epicentre of terrorism, at the 18th summit of Non-Aligned Movement countries at Azerbaijan on Friday. he said Pakistan clearly needs to do much more to earn the confidence of the international community and it must decisively abjure terrorism - for its own good, for that of its neighbors and for the good of the world.

NAM समिट में पाकिस्तान ने एक बार फिर से कश्मीर पर अपना प्रॉपेगैंडा चलते हुए भारत की कार्रवाई को अवैध, अनैतिक और सिद्धांतों के विपरीत बताया था। इस पर जवाब देते हुए उपराष्ट्रपति वेंकैया नायडू ने कहा कि पाकिस्तान आतंकवाद का केंद्र है और वह यदि अपनी भलाई चाहता है तो इससे दूर रहे। उन्होंने कहा कि आतंकवाद सिर्फ अंतरराष्ट्रीय शांति और सुरक्षा के लिए ही खतरा नहीं है बल्कि गुटनिरपेक्ष आंदोलन के सिद्धांतों के भी खिलाफ है
