On the occasion of Deepotsav, Ramnagari will set a world record by lighting 5.51 lakh lamps on Saturday. In this event, children of various colleges including Awadh University will light four lakh lamps. At the same time, there are preparations to illuminate 14 monasteries and temples with one and a half lakh lamps. Businessmen and common people will also light lamps from houses to the intersections of the city. The Guinness Book of Records team has also reached Ayodhya.

दीपोत्सव के अवसर पर रामनगरी शनिवार को 5.51 लाख दीप जलाकर विश्व रिकॉर्ड बनाएगी। इस आयोजन में अवध विश्वविद्यालय समेत विभिन्न कॉलेजों के बच्चे राम की पैड़ी पर चार लाख दीप जलाएंगे। वहीं 14 मठ-मंदिरों को करीब डेढ़ लाख दीपों से रोशन करने की तैयारी है। व्यापारी और आमजन भी घरों से लेकर शहर के चौराहों तक दीप जलाएंगे। गिनीज बुक ऑफ रिकॉर्ड की टीम भी अयोध्या पहुंच चुकी है।
