Astronomers Found Heavy Elements In The Aftermath Of A Neutron Star Collision

Astronomers witnessed a merger of two neutron stars that created a heavy element - strontium which has been detected for the first time in space. On Earth, strontium is present naturally in the soil and its salts are used to make fireworks.
