Jen visits esNAIL in West Hollywood to meet with manicurist Miho Okawara, who personally designed and painted Gomez's nails at Smashbox Studios for the new issue. esNail's opened their first salon in Shibuya in 2003 before venturing into California, specializing in must-have and exclusive Japanese nail art. Miho used select colors from the fourteen available shades of Selena Gomez's new nail polish line in collaboration with Nicole by OPI. The shades of lacquers featured in the Magazine and modeled by Jen range from sweet and flirty Spring inspired colors, soft pinks (Selena, Naturally), Lavender (Love Song), bright yellow (Hit the Lights), and two fun confetti top coats (kissed at Midnight & Heavenly Angel) in stores now. Including cuteaccoutrements like a 3-D bow appliqué on Jen's Pinky and gold studs arranged into the shape of a star seen on Jen's ring finger. Jen goes through a step to step guide to create Selena Gomez inspired nails, start with clean & dry nails, shape and file, apply a base coat, Jen recommends multiple nail colors, and last get creative!
