Bernie Sanders Says He Would Put AOC in His Presidential Administration.
The comment by the 2020 candidate comes after Ocasio-Cortez endorsed Sanders for president.
The freshman congresswoman made the endorsement
at a recent rally in New York that
drew over 25,000 people.
The rally was seen as a comeback for Sanders
after he suffered a recent heart attack.
The 78-year-old is now officially back on the campaign trail and says he is healthy and "feeling great.".
Before endorsing him, AOC tells CBS that she had talked with other candidates, including Elizabeth Warren.
I think she's a fabulous candidate. Frankly, Sen. Sanders, Sen. Warren and myself are all on the same team in the party, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, via CBS.
The 30-year-old also laughed off the possibility of being Sanders' running mate, saying she is "too young."
