Heavy rains in many areas of Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu have once again created flood-like conditions. Many rivers are in spate due to heavy rains. The worst is in northern Karnataka and Chikmagalur. According to the information received, heavy rains have caused havoc in northern Karnataka in the last few days. Due to this many rivers and streams are in spate, which has renewed memories of the floods in August this year. In many affected districts of the state, water has entered into houses located in low-lying areas and government buildings including schools and banks.

कर्नाटक, केरल और तमिलनाडु के कई इलाकों में भारी बारिश ने एक बार फिर से बाढ़ जैसे हालात बना दिए हैं। भारी बारिश की वजह से कई नदियां उफान पर हैं। सबसे बुरा हाल उत्तरी कर्नाटक और चिकमगलुरु का है। मिली जानकारी के अनुसार बीते कुछ दिनों में उत्तरी कर्नाटक में भारी बारिश ने तबाही मचाई हुई है। इस वजह से कई नदियां और नाले उफान पर हैं, जिससे इस साल अगस्त में आई बाढ़ की यादें ताज़ा हो गई हैं। राज्य के कई प्रभावित जिलों में पानी निचले इलाकों में स्थित घरों और स्कूलों, बैंकों समेत सरकारी इमारतों में घुस गया है।
