After Turkey raised the Kashmir issue at the United Nations General Assembly and openly backed Pakistan at a meeting of the Financial Action Task Force, India cancelled Prime Minister Narendra Modi's proposed visit to Turkey. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to Saudi Arabia on 27 October to attend a major investment conference. He was supposed to go to Turkey from there but now he will not go there. It is believed that India has taken this step in view of Turkey's attitude towards Pakistan.

तुर्की का संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासभा में कश्मीर मुद्दा उठाने और फाइनेंशियल एक्शन टास्क फोर्स की बैठक में खुलकर पाकिस्तान का साथ देने के बाद, भारत ने प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी की प्रस्तावित तुर्की यात्रा को रद्द कर दिया है। प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी एक बड़े निवेश सम्मेलन में भाग लेने के लिए 27 अक्टूबर को सऊदी अरब जा रहे हैं। उन्हें वहां से तुर्की जाना था लेकिन अब वह वहां नहीं जाएंगे। माना जा रहा है कि तुर्की के पाकिस्तान के प्रति रवैये के मद्देनर भारत ने यह कदम उठाया है।
