Brexiteer Jacob Rees-Mogg was booed on Saturday as he left parliament after a backbench amendment put the brakes on Prime Minister Boris Johnson's Brexit deal.

Remain-supporting protesters could be heard chanting jeering and chanting "shame" as Rees-Mogg walked by.

Tens of thousands have converged on Westminster calling for a second referendum on Brexit.
