Maharashtra Assembly Elections: Political battle of Munde family, Dhananjay Munde competing with Pankaja Munde Many prominent candidates contesting in Maharashtra have a blood relation or they come from the same family. The Munde family is the most high-profile contested in this way. Pankaja Munde, daughter of late BJP leader and former Union Minister Gopinath Munde is BJP candidate from Parli seat. In front of Pankaja is his cousin Dhananjay Munde, Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Council.
