Paul Dano to Play the
Riddler in 'The Batman'.
Dano will face off against
Robert Pattinson's Batman
in the highly-anticipated film.
Dano's casting comes soon after
Zoe Kravitz signed on to play
Catwoman in the movie.
Jeffrey Wright is
also in talks to play Police
Commissioner Jim Gordon.
Riddler has been a foe of the
caped crusader for decades,
first debuting in 1948.
The Riddler, AKA Edward Nygma,
has been one of Batman's most
memorable opponents.
Jim Carrey also portrayed the cunning villain in 1995's 'Batman Forever.'.
Dano's film credits include
roles in '12 Years a Slave'
and 'There Will Be Blood.'.
'The Batman' is being directed by
'War for the Planet of the Apes'
filmmaker Matt Reeves.
It is scheduled to reach the
big screen on June 25, 2021
