Jana Rosenberg is sitting down with Becky G to talk about her FIRST studio album “Mala Santa”. Becky has collaborated with some of the hottest artists in Latin music. While this new album has some of those collabs, it’s the collaborations with K-pop boy band BTS j-hope and country artist Kane Brown that have really excited her. Becky G says that it’s been a long time coming for “Mala Santa” and she can’t wait to hear how fans respond to it.

American singer, songwriter, and actress Rebecca Gomez or know as ‘Becky G’ began her music career at the young age of 9. She began posting videos of herself singing online. Becky soon caught the attention of producer Dr. Luke who signed her to Kemosabe Records and RCA Records. After debuting her song “Shower” in 2014 it entered the top twenty of the Billboard Hot 100 Chart. Not long after it earned a multi-platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), denoting two million units sold in the country. In addition to her own music career, Becky G co-headlined a tour alongside J Balvin in 2015 around the United States. In addition, she took the role of Trini, the yellow Power Ranger which made universal headlines being the first queer superhero in a blockbuster film. Her newest song and music video ‘Mala Santa’ which has reggaeton vibes pulls the attention of many as she brings her steamy moves to the screen.
