Another report about India has drawn lines of concern. According to the Global Hunger Index 2019, India ranks 102 in the ranking of 117 countries. That is, its condition in Asia is worse than many neighboring countries. China ranked 25th in the report, Pakistan 94th, Bangladesh 88th, Nepal 73rd, Myanmar 69th and Sri Lanka 66th. Belarus, Ukraine, Turkey, Cuba and Kuwait topped the GHI ranks.

भारत को लेकर एक और रिपोर्ट ने चिंता की लकीरें खींच दी है। ग्लोबल हंगर इंडेक्स 2019 के मुताबिक, भारत 117 देशों की रैंकिंग में 102 पायदान पर है। यानि एशिया में इसकी स्थिति कई पड़ोसी देशों से भी खराब है। रिपोर्ट में चीन 25वें, पाकिस्तान 94, बांग्लादेश 88वें, नेपाल 73वें, म्यांमार 69वें और श्रीलंका 66 वें पायदान पर है। बेलारूस, यूक्रेन, तुर्की, क्यूबा और कुवैत GHI रैंक में अव्वल हैं।
