This is the moment impatient commuters take a chance and try to sneak by a crumbling building in south India.

The stunning incident occurred at Hubli in Karnataka on September 24.

City officials had marked a building as dilapidated and asked its owner to demolish it. As it had been raining police had even restricted movement near the building.

It had rained heavily the night before and eyewitnesses reported the building had started to crumble. A few residents of the area and local reporters tried to caution passers by from venturing too close to the building.

But a few commuters refused to pay heed and sneaked past the building which came crashing down the morning of September 24.

A local businessman Harsha Hulikeri said: “Luckily, no one was hurt. But officials should have acted much earlier to ensure the building was demolished.”
