Maharashtra assembly elections: know the political equation of Aurangabad East seat
The BJP has dominated the Shiv Sena alliance on the Aurangabad East Assembly seat. However, when the two parties fought separately in the 2014 assembly elections, the Shiv Sena suffered a loss. At the same time, Asaduddin Owaisi's AIMIM showed strength in the Aurangabad East seat in the 2014 elections and was second.

औरंगाबाद ईस्‍ट विधानसभा सीट पर बीजेपी शिवसेना गठबंधन का दबदबा रहा है. हालांकि 2014 विधानसभा चुनाव में दोनों पार्टियों ने जब अलग-अलग चुनाव लड़ा था उस वक्त शिवसेना को नुकसान उठाना पड़ा था. वहीं 2014 चुनाव में असदुद्दीन ओवैसी की AIMIM ने औरंगाबाद ईस्‍ट सीट पर दम दिखा और वो दूसरे नंबर पर रही.
