అంతర్జాతీయ క్రికెట్ మండలి (ఐసీసీ) కీలక నిర్ణయం తీసుకుంది. ప్రపంచకప్‌ సెమీస్‌, పైనల్లో సూపర్‌ ఓవర్‌ కూడా టై అయితే బౌండరీ లెక్కతో విజేతను నిర్ణయించకుండా.. ఫలితం వచ్చే వరకు సూపర్‌ ఓవర్‌లు ఆడిస్తామని స్పష్టం చేసింది. సోమవారం జరిగిన ఐసీసీ బోర్డు మీటింగ్‌లో ఐసీసీ ఈ కీలక నిర్ణయాన్ని తీసుకుంది. ఇప్పటి వరకు సూపర్‌ ఓవర్‌ టై అయితే బౌండరీల లెక్కను బట్టి విజేతను నిర్ణయించేవారు.ఇటీవల ఇంగ్లాండ్‌, న్యూజిలాండ్‌ మధ్య జరిగిన ప్రపంచకప్‌ ఫైనల్‌ మ్యాచ్ టై కావడంతో విజేతను తేల్చేందుకు సూపర్‌ ఓవర్‌ ఆడించారు. కానీ సూపర్‌ ఓవర్‌ కూడా టైగా మారడంతో.. బౌండరీల లెక్కతో ఇంగ్లండ్‌ను విజేతగా ప్రకటించారు. ఇది సర్వత్రా విమర్శలకు దారితీసింది. ఐసీసీ నిబంధనలపై క్రికెటర్లు, మాజీలు, అభిమానులు పెద్దఎత్తున విమర్శించారు.
