Self-taught engineer creates robot toys from plastic waste in Indonesia
  • 5 years ago
A self-taught handyman created several advanced robotic toys out of scrap and plastic garbage in southern Indonesia in this amazing video.

The unique machines are made using external materials taken from used materials such as used plastic, used bottles and broken drone blades.

The manufacturing process varies individually ranging up to one week depending on the type of robot.

Chandra said that this idea originated from her daily activities as a handyman service for cellphones. He experimented with the help of some friends and successfully created working robots, with each of his robots using designs of animals such as ants, cats and spiders.

Chandra is able to sell these robots, with some reaching prices between one million to 15 million INR (up to £837) and can be purchased by consumers from the island of Java.
