Kind-hearted villagers rescued a family of four trapped in a car after it fell into a pond in southern China.

The video, captured in the city of Putian on October 2, shows a car suddenly losing control and driving into a pond after the driver failed to turn a corner.

Villagers can be seen jumping into the water to rescue the family of four.

The four were sent to a nearby hospital for treatment.

None are suffering from life-threatening injuries.
