Extinction Rebellion protesters clashed with police on Wednesday afternoon (October 9) as police officers seized their tents at Trafalgar Square in central London.
Protesters chanted "shame on you" and "we're not violent, how about you?" at police officers and sat in roads and on the pavement in an attempt to block their removal.
