Protestors, clad in soot-covered biohazard gear, storm the local government prefecture in Rouen, France Tuesday afternoon (October 8) and dropped contaminated water vials on the stairs to draw attention to the Lubrizol fire that they claim has poisoned the local atmosphere.

Around 600 protestors gathered in front of the government building, to demand further inquiry into fire at the American chemical giant Lubrizol's nearby facility that may have contaminated the local air and water.

The protestors called on authorities to fully investigate the incident at the plant and to share the findings relating to any possible impacts on public health.
