In a recent interview with The Associated Press,
Joaquin Phoenix opened up about his preparation
for ‘Joker’ and the toll it took on his body. .
The 44-year-old actor was reportedly urged by the movie's
director, Todd Phillips, to lose 52 pounds for his role.
Although he lost the weight safely under
a doctor’s guidance, the drastic process
caused him to develop an eating “disorder.”.
Once you reach the target weight, everything
changes … Like so much of what’s difficult is
waking up every day and being obsessed over
like 0.3 pounds. Right? And you really develop
