President Trump slammed Democrats on Twitter.
President Trump has labeled a group of high-profile Democrats, "Do Nothing Democrat Savages" amid his impeachment battle.
He tweeted Saturday morning: "Can you imagine if these Do Nothing Democrat Savages, people like Nadler, Schiff, AOC Plus 3, and many more, had a Republican Party who would have done to Obama what the Do Nothings are doing to me. Oh well, maybe next time!"
Trump was referring to House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler, House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff, and progressive Representatives Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ayanna Pressley, Ilhan Omar, and Rashida Tlaib--all of whom have been outspoken critics of the president.
Trump's Twitter attack comes after the House announced a formal impeachment inquiry over his request that the Ukrainian president help investigate former Vice President Joe Biden and his son.
