Seoul's FM Kang meets Chinese counterpart in New York for talks on N. Korea cooperation

On the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York on Wednesday,... South Korea's foreign minister Kang Kyung-wha sat down with her Chinese counterpart Wang Yi.
The two diplomats discussed denuclearizing the Korean Peninsula and continuing their cooperation for another round of North Korea-U.S. talks so they can resume as early as possible.
An official at Seoul's foreign affairs ministry says... Wang, who visited Pyeongyang this month, shared the results of that visit with Kang.
The two sides also agreed upon bolstering bilateral ties,... including more economic cooperation.
They also shared views on the U.S. THAAD antimissile system in South Korea.
