Good afternoon, the nation is settling into autumn. It was another notably chilly morning for many of us and the further north you go, the colder it is. Mountainous regions are seeing single digit morning lows. Take care of yourself as a lot of people are coming down with colds these days.
Later in the day, expect mostly sunny skies and warm temperatures. UV levels will be high in many regions so don't forget your sunblock.
Temperatures are forecast to tick up a couple notches over the next few days and the weather looks promising for central regions as long as we are prepared for big temperature gaps. Meanwhile, southern parts of the country will see rain on Friday and Saturday.
