This baby elephant stuck inside a deep pit, was being rescued from inside a well in India's southern Kerala state. The rescue mission was carried out by forest department officials, using an excavator machine to fill the well with the mud. They filled it with leaves, to keep feeding the baby while working on removing the earth to create a passage for the animal to come out. After a five-hour-long operation and innumerable efforts, the elephant was finally able to come out. As soon as the elephant came out of the well, it ran towards the forests.
