With Cecil B. DeMille Award.
The acclaimed actor will be recognized at
the 2020 Golden Globes early next year.
For more than three decades, he’s captivated audiences with rich and playful characters that we’ve grown to love and admire. As compelling as he is on the silver screen, he’s equally so behind the camera as a writer, producer and director, Hollywood Foreign Press Association president

Over his illustrious career, Hanks has won two Oscars, both for best actor in the movies 'Forrest Gump' and 'Philadelphia.'.
He has also won four Golden Globes
and two Screen Actors Guild Awards.
Hanks can next be seen portraying legendary TV personality Fred Rogers in 'A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood.'.
The movie will be released on Nov. 22
and is expected to be a fixture at
upcoming award shows
