Seoul-Washington to hold defense cost-sharing negotiations this week in Seoul

Talks between South Korea and the U.S. on defense cost-sharing for next year... is set to begin from tomorrow... and will be held for 2 days in Seoul.
South Korea's foreign ministry says Chang Won-sam, the lead negotiator in the previous talks, will be heading the meeting until his successor is named.
It is widely speculated the former deputy chief of the Financial Services Commission Chung Eun-bo will be next point man.
James DeHart,... from the state department will be representing Washington.
It's reported that Washington asked Seoul to pay more... for the annual cost of 50 billion U.S. dollars... required to keep American troops on the Peninsula.
Seoul is currently paying some 860 million U.S. dollars.
